My Right Hand

i made this sculpture out of wire to resemble my own hand. it took several weeks, and the wire cut me many times during the process. it is sharp, with raw edges, unrefined.

when i first started making this sculpture, it was out of hurt. hurt from the comments ive received, hurt from missing something most people have. but as i continued to work on it, my feelings shifted towards love. this hand gives me the gift of creative expression.
